Today, we’re looking at what it actually looks like to trust the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 gives us a clear picture through three key commands:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart – Trusting God requires surrender and often means waiting on Him instead of rushing ahead.
Lean not on your own understanding – Our understanding is limited, but God’s is not. When we rely only on ourselves, we risk being foolish.
In all your ways know Him – Trusting God isn’t just for big decisions; it means seeking His wisdom in every area of life.
The Promise: He will make your paths straight. The straight path isn’t always easy, but it is always good. Trusting God means allowing Him to guide us, even when the way forward isn’t clear.

Neue Thing is a non-profit ministry, founded by Cherie Wagner, that exists to equip women with the Word of God. Cherie’s life-long passion is two-fold: knowing Jesus Christ and making Him known.
