ABOUT THE EPISODE

In an introduction to the Prison Epistles we’ll be studying this year, Cherie and Tami give helpful context of Paul as he penned these books–written during his first Roman imprisonment when religious persecution was increasing rapidly. In the middle of his imprisonment, he produced three great letters to the churches of Ephesus, Colossae, and Philippi, as well as a personal letter to his friend Philemon. This year, we’ll spend time in each chapter, discovering what compelled Paul to address these churches and friends. 

In studying how God wove an amazing story in and through Paul’s life, we can also look at each of our own stories to see how God is at work. Cherie and Tami both share how they have seen evidence of God in specific moments of their own testimonies.
